I’d head into my office around 8.30 am ready to go. I’d open up the email, check who won the cricket, and then start responding to emails . It would be 9.30 by the time I cleared the spam and responded to my emails. Then I would look at my to-do list and start clearing them item by item.
In between the phone would start ringing and people would start to come and see me. I had back to back meetings, was very busy throughout the day and had important tasks left till the end of the day.
By the time it was 6.00 PM, I needed to get back home and had to postpone important activities to the next day.
Then one day I thought, “If only I’d done two hours of productive client on the most important items on my list at the start of the day, I would have ended up feeling great and all set for a productive day”. Instead I was behind for the rest of the day.
It was then I read a book on how to stop procrastination called Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy, that I realized how powerful the concepts of goal setting and prioritization can be. I stopped putting off working on important projects, became more focused and tackled the
Today, I feel much more relaxed and in control of my life at work. My personal life has improved significantly and on most days I go home by 5 PM, feeling very satisfied with the way I spent my day.





I recently completed the “Eat that Frog” Workshop and found Mark’s style of training easy to understand and he reminded me that we need daily goals and lists to achieve the quailty of life we all aim for is achieveable. Thanks Mark.
